This morning I made a triumphant return to Central Park and ran ~6.4 miles on the roads (celebrate!). I’m not even going to complain about the humidity – my ankle is feeling great, and I’ll probably get back on the bridle path (and show it who’s boss) tomorrow 🙂
I’m looking for some at-home strengthening exercises to do for my ankle rather than going to PT, so any ideas beyond the resistance band please shoot ’em my way!
Oh my gosh, it was bananas amazing. Blissfully not crowded on a weekday afternoon and HUGE, I was on sensory overload taking in all of the wonderful displays.
Is it weird I get so excited about grocery stores?
Now, I’m not sure taking photos inside TJ’s is technically allowed, but I was very stealth about it. And really, it’s all in good fun, yeah? Some more visuals:
Everything was just so neat and orderly. Really, it doesn’t take much to make me happy. Here are more reasons why I love TJ’s so much:
- Quality – from produce to coffee and cereal, and a lot of organic options
- Price – TJ’s is so affordable. So refreshing in the most expensive city ever in life 🙂
- Atmosphere – TJ’s is fun, and employees are nice, friendly and helpful
- Variety – so much stuff to choose from!
Since I’ll obviously be visiting the new TJ’s multiple times per week, I only got a few random things to commemorate my first visit:
Now all I need is for the TJ’s folks to decide to open a store on the UES (or maybe I just need to move…). They are set to open another one soon on the UWS, right near the 72nd street subway stop…
Speaking of new store openings, Manhattan is getting its very own Target this weekend! This is big news, and it’s about damn time, if you ask me.
Question: Do you get excited about grocery stores like TJ’s or Whole Foods? Or is it just me…
